The Company
Our client is a boutique, design-led studio delivering high-end residential and commercial interiors across WA. With a collaborative and close-knit team environment, they are now seeking a capable Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to support both the financial operations and day-to-day running of the studio.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role combining bookkeeping, payroll and office coordination within a well-established creative business. Working closely with the Directors, you’ll take ownership across Xero, invoicing, payroll and reconciliations, while also ensuring the office operates smoothly behind the scenes. The role can be structured as full-time or school hours depending on experience and preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Xero bookkeeping, reconciliations and account management
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Payroll, superannuation and invoicing
- BAS coordination and monthly reporting
- Office coordination, supplies and subscriptions
- Liaising with IT, cleaners and building management
- Timesheet, leave and onboarding administration
- Supporting general office operations and team coordination
About You
- Strong experience using Xero
- Confident managing payroll and day-to-day bookkeeping
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working autonomously
- Previous experience within a small business environment preferred
- Experience within design, architecture, construction or creative industries highly regarded
