Mid Level Business Analyst

• 12 month ongoing contract with extensions

Our client is looking for a mid?level Business Analyst who thrives in ambiguous, fast?moving environments and enjoys shaping products from the ground up. You’ll work closely with stakeholder, product managers, designers, and engineers to turn ideas into clearly defined, build?ready requirements. This is a hands?on role where you’ll have real influence – not just documenting requirements, but helping decide what should be built and why.

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys building cutting edge products and POCs within a fast paced environment with lots of change.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to discover, define, and validate business problems
• Translate ideas into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements
• Collaborate daily with product and engineering teams in Agile delivery
• Facilitate workshops, journey mapping, and backlog refinement sessions
• Help prioritise features based on customer value, effort, and business impact
• Support testing, UAT, and release activities
• Continuously improve ways of working as the startup scales
• Good understanding of UX principals

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role)
• Experience working in Agile or product-led environments
• Comfortable with uncertainty, change, and evolving requirements
• Strong communication skills – able to work with both technical and non-technical people
• Ability to think commercially, not just functionally
• Experience writing user stories and working closely with developers
