We are seeking a Producer to join our small, committed team and support the planning and delivery of our creative projects, tours, and productions. This is a genuine opportunity to work at the heart of a First Nations-led performing arts company, contributing to work that is culturally grounded, artistically adventurous, and nationally significant.

About the Role

Working closely with our General Manager and Artistic Custodian, you will coordinate across all aspects of production and project management. Keeping projects on time, on budget, and in alignment with our artistic and Cultural vision. You'll be the connection between our creative team, venues, festivals, presenters, and suppliers.

This is an initial fixed-term engagement to 30 June 2027. Na Djinang Circus intends this to be an ongoing role, subject to funding confirmation, and we will discuss this openly with the successful candidate.

We are committed to growing First Nations arts leadership from within. This role includes genuine professional development and mentorship opportunities, and is well suited to someone with ambitions to grow into senior arts leadership.

The Details

  • Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 p.a. (based on expirence) + statutory super and leave
  • Conditions: Full Time, Fixed Term
  • Term: 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 (fixed term, intention to extend subject to funding)
  • Location: Naarm, Victoria: hybrid, combining work from home, creative/training spaces, and travel as required
