About The Role
Reporting to the CEO, this executive leadership role will oversee a national medico-legal division during a period of significant growth and transformation. The position will lead commercial, operational and clinical performance, while driving customer growth, service expansion and operational efficiency across multiple states.

Duties/Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the national growth strategy, including expanding service offerings and integrating acquisitions across multiple Australian markets
- Oversee day-to-day operations to improve productivity, operational efficiency and profitability, including implementing systems and processes that streamline service delivery
- Manage full financial accountability for the division, including budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, revenue growth and EBITDA targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, employers, regulatory bodies and key customers to support long-term partnerships, contract retention and new business opportunities
- Drive clinician engagement and recruitment across multiple specialties to support national growth and customer demand
- Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture across all locations
- Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory and industry requirements across multiple jurisdictions, while supporting the organisation’s position as a leader in occupational health and medico-legal services
- Work closely with executive leadership teams nationally to maximise collaboration, customer opportunities and broader business performance
Skills And Experience
- 8+ years in a commercial and operational leadership role, ideally within medico-legal, occupational health or similar environments
- Experience within healthcare, occupational health, insurance, medico-legal or related sectors
- Solid understanding of Independent Medical Assessments (IME), Return to Work (RTW) and Fitness for Duties (FFD) protocols, and more broadly compensable injury management frameworks that operate across Australia
- Strong commercial acumen with proven P&L management capability
- Ability to lead large operational and customer-focused teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Experience leading businesses through growth and transformation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Health Management or related discipline
- MBA or industry-specific qualifications highly regarded
