Hiring | APEA FATCA/CRS Query & Escalations Manager

Melbourne | 3-Month Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced APEA FATCA/CRS Query & Escalations Manager to join a leading financial services environment within the CTT Support team.

Role Overview

This role will lead FATCA & CRS query management, escalations, stakeholder engagement, and operational delivery across APEA jurisdictions. The successful candidate will manage onshore/offshore teams, oversee regulatory case handling, and support institutional onboarding and compliance activities across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage FATCA/CRS escalations and compliance outcomes across APEA

• Lead and support onshore/offshore teams across multiple regions

• Handle institutional onboarding compliance queries and case management

• Review FATCA/CRS self-certification forms and IRS W forms

• Monitor workflow queues and escalations via Pega/internal systems

• Manage stakeholder communications across APAC, UK & US regions

• Ensure accurate audit trails, reporting, and operational governance

• Support continuous improvement and compliance excellence initiatives

Mandatory Skills & Experience

7+ years in FATCA/CRS operations, compliance, governance, or KYC

Strong knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and IRS W-form assessments

Experience managing regulatory queries and escalations

Institutional banking/KYC onboarding exposure

Proven people management experience across onshore/offshore teams

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with Pega or similar case management platforms preferred
