System Engineer

• Contract until 10th of September – Government Department
• Bundoora Location – Hybrid Working Arrangement
• Windows System Engineer

As a System Engineer you will play a key role in supporting a legacy Windows virtual machine environment while helping migrate 30+ users into a new, modern Windows computing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows systems, network, and storage infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, availability, and system issues
• Support and migrate users from legacy environments to modern platforms
• Design and implement infrastructure improvements and automation solutions
• Collaborate with scientists and project teams to meet evolving requirements

Key Requirements

• Strong experience working as a Windows System Engineer
• Proven experience in Windows Server (2016+) and Windows 10+ environments
• Strong expertise in Active Directory (GPO, DNS, DHCP, Domain Controllers)
• Experience with virtualised desktop and server environments
• Hands-on experience with system administration, patching, and security
