  • $120,000 base + super + uncapped comms - $200-220,000 uncapped OTE

My client is a market leading Martech and Customer Data SaaS vendor that is growing rapidly across Australia and the region. Their award winning omni channel platform encompasses CX, CRM, Chatbot, email and SMS tech. As a result of growth, they are looking for new business Account Executive(s) to sell their automation platform to the commercial and enterprise sector across Australia and New Zealand. This is a remote role and can be based in any of the major capital cities, although Melbourne or Sydney is preferable.

Key responsibilities

  • New business development across a range of industry sectors in the Australian enterprise and mid market sectors
  • Reporting to the Sales Director and working with the Marketing Manager and Sales Development Rep allocated to your team
  • Achieving monthly revenue sales targets
  • Positioning the company's platform at senior marketing, sales, IT and digital levels within your customer base
  • Effective territory, forecasting and pipeline management

Key skills and experience required

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience working as Business Development Manager/Account Executive in the technology sales industry - ideally working for a recognised SaaS/PaaS vendor in the Data/Marketing/CX fields but we are open to strong SaaS sellers from other industries
  • A demonstrated track record of success working in a 360 degree (outbound focused) new business hunting role where you haven't relied on a SDR/BDR team to book your meetings
  • Ability to clearly and quickly articulate business benefits of the company's solutions
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, ability to own and develop sales strategies and able to take calculated risks
  • Superior presentation and negotiation skills and ability to converse with senior marketing decision makers up to C level
  • Team player with a proven track record of achieving a personal sales target
