The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to step into a principal-level role on one of Western Australia’s most significant renewable energy programs. You’ll play a critical role in shaping projects at the earliest stages—driving them from concept and feasibility through to funding approval as part of a major programme of work.

This is not a delivery-only role. It’s about influencing outcomes before execution even begins—bringing together engineering, commercial, approvals and stakeholder strategy to unlock large-scale projects.

The Role

Lead the development phase of high-value, energy infrastructure projects, including:

• Defining project scope, strategy and governance frameworks
• Leading feasibility studies across engineering, cost, schedule and approvals
• Developing robust business cases and CAPEX for funding approval
• Managing stakeholder engagement across government, landowners and industry
• Identifying and mitigating commercial, regulatory and delivery risks You’ll be instrumental in progressing projects through the critical funding gateway—one of the most challenging and high-impact phases.

What You Bring

• Demonstratable management experience in major infrastructure or energy projects
• Strong background in study phase / development / feasibility stage of projects
• Proven experience on high value projects ($300M+) within power, transmission or renewables
• Ability to operate at a senior level across technical, commercial and stakeholder domains
• Availability to start immediately or at short notice
