With a diverse project portfolio comprising 250-300 projects annually, ranging from minor improvements through to major capital upgrades, this is an opportunity to join a business committed to investing in its people, assets, and future growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Capital Projects, you will join a team of Project Managers responsible for delivering a significant capital works program nationally, this role taking ownership across five manufacturing sites spanning across Victoria and New South Wales.

You will be responsible for delivering capital projects from concept through to commissioning, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing capital projects across multiple manufacturing sites within VIC and NSW, typically ranging from $500K to $5M.
  • Developing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinating contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Monitoring project performance, costs, timelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Providing regular project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Supporting commissioning, operator training, and project handovers.
  • Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.

Your Background

To be successful, you will possess:

  • Degree qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience delivering capital projects within manufacturing, industrial, or processing environments.
  • Experience managing construction, mechanical, or process projects up to $10M.
  • Strong contractor management, stakeholder engagement, and project planning skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Exposure to PLC, SCADA, process automation, or manufacturing systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required.
