Cyber Security Administrator/Systems Engineer

Join a high‑performance team supporting a secure, mission‑critical environment. You’ll help maintain and enhance a classified infrastructure, ensuring it meets strict performance, reliability, and cyber security standards.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and improve classified systems to meet performance, reliability, and security requirements
• Assist with planning, designing, testing, and implementing system upgrades and new platform components
• Apply security patches and maintain accurate cyber security documentation
• Package, deploy, and support applications to ensure compliance with security frameworks
• Support network security technologies including SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, firewalls, IPS, and device control
• Provide technical advice and resolve user issues across multiple platforms
• Contribute to security accreditation documentation
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve service delivery

What you’ll bring

• Strong Systems Administration or ICT background, including Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11
• Solid understanding of cyber security principles, tools, and best practices
• Knowledge of ISM, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls or similar frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Bonus: Experience with VMware vSphere or Horizon
• Existing NV2 Australian Defence security clearance (mandatory)

Casual Loading
