SAP IDM/GRC Lead – Identity & Access Management

Our client is a leading consultancy delivering secure, enterprise-scale SAP solutions. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing identity and access management frameworks across complex environments.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP IDM/GRC Lead to drive the design, build, and optimisation of secure SAP systems, with a strong focus on GRC Access Controls and Identity Management integrations. You’ll lead end-to-end implementations and work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement SAP security solutions with a focus on GRC Access Controls.

• Lead Identity Management (IdM) integrations across enterprise systems including SAP, HR, and Active Directory.

• Deliver end-to-end SAP IdM/GRC project lifecycles.

• Integrate IDM solutions with HANA, SCIM, LDAP, and Identity Provisioning/Authentication Services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex security and identity issues.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions aligned with business needs.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship across delivery teams.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience in SAP IdM & GRC, including at least 4 full lifecycle implementations.

• Strong experience with Identity Management solutions and integrations (HR systems, Active Directory, LDAP, SCIM).

• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA integrations and identity services.

• Proficiency in T-SQL and JavaScript.

• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to deliver complex projects within tight timeframes.

Desirable Skills

• Strong presentation and client engagement skills.

• Leadership or project management experience/aspiration.

• Ability to adapt to new environments and challenges.

• Active involvement or interest in the SAP community.

Security Requirement

• Must be an Australian Citizen with an active AGSVA NV1 clearance.
