Our client is a privately owned property developer focused on residential and living-sector opportunities across Australia. With almost 20 years operating in the market, the business has established a strong track record across acquisition, development and delivery and is now actively expanding its national platform across WA, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

The pipeline spans purpose-built student accommodation, build-to-rent, build-to-sell, retirement living and mixed-use residential projects, including one of the largest PBSA developments currently underway in Western Australia.

The Opportunity

This role has been created to support the growth of the business as it continues to expand nationally across the living sector. You will report directly to the Managing Director and unlike many analyst positions, this role provides visibility across the full lifecycle. You will help assess opportunities, support investment decisions and gain exposure to how projects are delivered and managed once acquired.

Salary is anticipated to sit between $120K-$160K + Super, with flexibility for the right individual.

Investment & Feasibility Analysis

  • Build and maintain acquisition and development feasibilities
  • Undertake valuation analysis and scenario modelling
  • Assess project performance drivers and investment returns
  • Support investment papers and executive decision-making

Acquisitions & Capital

  • Assist with due diligence across new opportunities
  • Support debt procurement and capital transactions
  • Research markets, asset classes and emerging opportunities
  • Evaluate risks and value creation initiatives

Development Exposure

  • Support active projects through planning and delivery phases
  • Monitor project performance against feasibility assumptions
  • Work alongside the development team on key project initiatives
  • Gain exposure across the full development lifecycle

Strategic & Commercial Support

  • Prepare reporting and presentations for investors and stakeholders
  • Analyse portfolio and asset-level performance
  • Provide commercial insights to support business decisions
  • Contribute to the growth of the national development platform

About You

  • Property, finance, commerce or related tertiary qualification
  • Experience as a Property Analyst, Investment Analyst, Development Analyst or similar
  • Strong financial modelling and feasibility capability
  • Commercially minded with a genuine interest in property development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working within a lean, entrepreneurial environment
