The Role

We're looking for the best podcast clip editor in Australia. Someone who knows what goes viral, knows what makes a social account grow, and knows exactly what makes a clip perform. You live and breathe short-form. You can watch a raw episode and instantly spot the moment that's going to pop off – then cut, sequence, and animate it into something people can't scroll past.

What You'll Do

• Watch full episodes and select the moments with the highest viral potential – the hooks, the takes, the moments people screenshot and share.
• Sequence clips for maximum retention – nail the hook in the first second and hold attention to the last frame.
• Animate and design clips that look unmistakably premium – captions, motion, pacing, the lot.
• Deliver clips across formats and platforms (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) tuned to how each one performs.
• Stay on top of trends, formats, and what's working right now – and bring it to the team.
• Hit deadlines without dropping quality.

You'll Smash This Role If You

• Have a proven track record of clips that have actually performed – views, shares, follower growth.
• Master the three core skills: clip selection, clip sequencing, and clip animation.
• Understand social growth – you know why a clip works, not just how to cut one.
• Have an eye for what goes viral and the instinct to find it fast.
• Don't need hand-holding – you own your output and get it done.
• Care about quality and will fight for it – mediocre doesn't fly here.
• Can move fast without losing the polish.
