The Operations & People Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance and operational excellence of the Melioris studio portfolio.

Working closely with the Group General Manager, this role provides leadership and accountability across studio operations, people management, member experience, sales performance and business systems. The objective of the role is to create high-performing, sustainable studios that deliver exceptional member experiences while reducing owner dependency and supporting future business growth.

This is a hands-on leadership position that balances commercial outcomes with strong people leadership and a commitment to maintaining a positive studio culture.

Located 15 mins North of Perth in affluent coastal suburbs. Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Leadership
  • Oversee daily operations across all studio locations.
  • Ensure consistency of systems, processes and member experience.
  • Monitor and improve studio utilisation, occupancy and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, systems and productivity.
  • Ensure studios maintain high presentation, cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Lead weekly operational reviews and action planning.
People & Culture
  • Directly manage Studio Managers, Lead Instructors and key operational staff.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one performance meetings.
  • Drive accountability and performance across all teams.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of instructors and team members.
  • Assist with performance management and employee relations matters.
  • Foster a positive, supportive and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Ensure company values and standards are consistently upheld.</li>Instructor Development
    • Work closely with Lead Instructors to ensure appropriate class allocation and timetable management.
    • Support instructor growth, mentoring and career development pathways.
    • Monitor instructor performance, member feedback and utilisation outcomes.
    • Assist in identifying future leadership candidates within the instructor team.
    Sales & Member Experience
    • Monitor studio sales performance and lead conversion metrics.
    • Support implementation of member retention strategies.
    • Ensure prospective members receive a consistent and exceptional experience.
    • Review member feedback and develop action plans where required.
    • Assist with community engagement initiatives and local partnerships.
    Financial & Commercial Performance
    • Monitor labour costs, payroll efficiency and staffing levels.
    • Review studio KPIs and prepare weekly reporting.
    • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Assist in achieving membership growth and retention targets.
    Strategic Projects
    • Support the Group General Manager with business improvement initiatives.
    • Lead implementation of new systems, processes and operational projects.
    • Assist with documentation, reporting and business readiness initiatives.
    • Contribute to long-term growth planning and organisational development.
