We have been mandated to identify an Associate for a top-tier investment bank's Digital Infrastructure coverage team in Melbourne. The firm has established a strong and recognised position in infrastructure advisory, and the digital infrastructure team reflects where significant origination and coverage resource is being directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the origination, execution, and management of opportunities.
• Contribute to client presentations and transaction execution with financial and commercial insights.
• Develop and maintain financial models for acquisitions, divestments, project financing, and operational updates.
• Provide analysis and advice to support project development and origination activities.
• Assist in preparing internal and external documentation, including client investment case papers.
• Offer analytical and commercial support for ongoing portfolio management.

Skills and Experience

• 2-6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Big 4 accounting firm (M&A, Infrastructure advisory, Valuation / modelling) or Project Finance.
• Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or renewable energy sectors is a plus but not essential.
• Strong financial modelling skills (a modelling test will be part of the interview process).
• Experience with transaction workstreams including analysis, due diligence, structuring, and documentation.
• Self-starter with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and peers.
