About the Role

You will deliver Science for Years 7-8 across a structured week making it a great option for a teacher seeking strong continuity and impact across a consistent weekly load. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Science lessons, differentiating to support a range of learning needs, and maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment. The school is looking for someone who is confident with proactive behaviour management, and who can build calm, respectful routines that help students stay focused and supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Science to Year 7-8 with engaging, well-paced lessons
• Apply proactive classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment
• Plan and differentiate instruction to support diverse student learning needs
• Use Compass confidently for day-to-day teaching administration (essential)
• Collaborate with school staff to support student wellbeing and learning outcomes

You Will Have

• Tertiary qualifications in Education and English (or related discipline)
• Current or pending Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
• Experience with Compass (essential)
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science
