Ecommerce Specialist

My client is a global sportswear and athletic footwear company, headquartered in the US. One of the world's most iconic athletic brands, they sell footwear, apparel, and sports equipment to millions of consumers worldwide. Their digital commerce team in Melbourne is growing, and they have an opening for an Ecommerce Specialist.

This is a newly created role sitting within a high performing digital trading environment, reporting to the App Manager. You will work across a cross functional team spanning Brand, Merchandising, Operations and Digital Product, with a focus on delivering best in class digital commerce experiences across both app and web platforms.

If you have hands on experience working within an app led retail ecosystem, this one is for you.

What you will be doing

• Executing daily app and onsite content activities in partnership with Brand, Site Merchandising and Digital Operations teams
• Supporting in season trading performance through analysis and commercial trend monitoring
• Driving category specific digital business outcomes through cross functional collaboration
• Executing and tracking growth initiatives to support digital commerce performance
• Delivering against digital strategy KPIs and commercial targets
• Supporting seasonal membership and engagement initiatives and ensuring program readiness
• Identifying trends, opportunities and insights through data analysis to improve performance and engagement

What we are looking for

• 2 to 3 years experience in digital commerce, eCommerce, merchandising, brand marketing or digital experience roles
• Exposure to app based commerce and digital customer journeys within a retail ecosystem
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively across cross functional teams in a matrix organisation
• A passion for digital experiences and premium consumer outcomes
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail or a related discipline
