Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Kafka Senior Developer with 8+ years of experience in building and supporting real-time, event-driven data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Confluent Cloud, and Flink SQL, along with experience in API integrations, Schema Registry, and CI/CD practices. The role involves developing scalable streaming applications, implementing data transformation and validation logic, supporting end-to-end integrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot for source system connectivity.
• Build and support Kafka producers, consumers, and event-driven services on Confluent Cloud platforms.
• Design and implement Flink SQL and stream processing logic for data transformation, enrichment, validation, and routing.
• Integrate and manage Schema Registry, REST APIs, Kong Gateway, and HTTP Sink patterns for seamless data exchange.
• Support testing, defect resolution, CI/CD deployments, and end-to-end integration activities across multiple systems.

Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Development.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka, Confluent Cloud, Kafka Connect, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Proficiency in Flink SQL, Stream Processing, and Real-Time Data Integration.
• Experience with Schema Registry, REST APIs, Kong Gateway, and HTTP-based integrations.
• Good knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, Unit Testing, SIT, E2E Testing, and Production Support.
