Project Manager – Infrastructure & Technology

• $800 per day including Super

We are partnering with a leading Australian retail organisation to secure a Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and technology initiatives across a highly dynamic environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take ownership of end-to-end delivery, working across multiple programs that underpin critical business operations and strategic growth.

The Opportunity

This role will see you operating at the centre of complex, multi-stream initiatives spanning infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise technology environments.

You will:

• Lead the delivery of concurrent, high-impact infrastructure projects
• Work across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution from planning through to delivery
• Drive alignment between technology outcomes and broader business objectives
• Bring structure, clarity, and discipline to complex delivery environments
• You will be trusted to manage ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle delivery of infrastructure and technology programs
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcing strategies
• Identify, assess and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple streams
• Provide clear, concise reporting to executive and stakeholder groups
• Lead and mentor project teams, driving accountability and high performance
• Manage vendor and third-party relationships to ensure successful delivery outcomes
• Champion best practice delivery frameworks, tools, and governance

About You

You are a seasoned Project Manager who thrives in complex environments and enjoys leading teams through challenging programs of work.

You will bring:

• Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (data centre, cloud, networks, or security)
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
• A structured approach to delivery, with experience across Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• The ability to lead multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong commercial awareness, including budget and resource management

Technical & Domain Experience

• Background in infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), or enterprise environments
• Experience across areas such as migrations, resilience, security, or large-scale rollouts
• Familiarity with project delivery tools (e.g. MS Project or similar)
• Understanding of enterprise technology landscapes and interdependencies
