Step into a leadership opportunity where you’ll shape how Operational Risk, Quality and Controls come together to enable stronger business outcomes. We’re hiring three Lead roles across these core disciplines, each owning a distinct stream while working closely together to drive consistency, uplift capability and improve how work is delivered. You will lead a team, drive outcomes and partner with senior stakeholders, while also playing a broader role in coaching and influencing the business to strengthen capability and accountability.

These are permanent full-time role based in multiple locations across Australia.

Each Role Has a Clear Core Focus

  • Operational Risk: Strengthening how operational risks are identified, assessed and managed, improving consistency and ownership across the business
  • Quality: Driving quality assurance reviews and outcomes, identifying themes and leading continuous improvement opportunities through actions and recommendations.
  • Controls: Evaluating operational control design and effectiveness, by gathering evidence through walkthroughs, interviews, and sampling to ensure controls are consistently working in practice.

What You'll Do

  • Lead one of the core streams – Operational Risk, Quality or Controls, with accountability for team leadership, delivery and execution outcomes.
  • Drive high quality, consistent practices within your discipline, ensuring strong standards and practical outcomes across day-to-day activities.
  • Play a dual role by leading functional delivery while also uplifting capability across the business through coaching, guidance and influence.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and executive stakeholders, providing insight, support and constructive challenge.
  • Embed accountability across the business, helping teams take ownership of operational risk, quality and control outcomes.
  • Lead your team through change, balancing delivery priorities while supporting engagement, development and wellbeing.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, practical actions that the team can apply confidently in their day-to-day work.

What You'll Bring

  • Deep expertise in operational risk, controls or quality assurance, with the ability to apply frameworks in a practical and meaningful way.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, development and leading teams through change.
  • Strong delivery and execution focus, able to prioritise, manage competing demands and achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence to influence, challenge and build relationships at senior levels.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, able to navigate complexity and think conceptually.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, able to simplify complex ideas and articulate your thinking.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach, comfortable working across streams of work and contributing beyond your core discipline.
