Contractor Compliance Specialist - Electrical
Programmed
PERSOL is one of Australia's largest and longest serving recruitment providers. Delivering both quality temporary and permanent options, we specialise in the recruitment of Engineering, Technical and Office Support talent.
We are partnered with one of WA's best-known employers, for the recruitment of a Contractor Compliance Specialist, focusing on Electrical Compliance.
Some of the key points that you'll want to know:
- This company's office is based in Perth's CBD, but you'll spend much of the day "out on the road" visiting sites across Perth (and occasionally the South-West) and ensuring Electrical work has been completed to contract standard. Around 80% of the role is based "on the road", usually from Monday to Thursday.
- As such, they'll provide you with a company car, laptop and phone.
- You'll typically work 37.5 hours per week, and they encourage a good work/life balance and flexibility.
- They really want someone who will see this as a long-term career move, and who wants to build their career here.
- As such, they'll invest in you. Extensive support and a clear career path within their business.
- We have placed other people in jobs here, and have seen them also flourish in this team and company.
The role itself is very much Compliance focused. You'll use your Electrical knowledge to ensure works have been completed to Australian contract standards.
In Terms Of Your Background, You'll Ideally Have
- Must possess a relevant electrical qualification
- Experience in an Electrical/Engineering role (or similar), as well as experience with Electrical Design and Network construction to Australian standard.
- Some experience in contract management and execution
- Experience in safety management, occupational health, workplace assessing, incident and hazard investigation
- Proven experience in managing customer and contractor relationships
- Interaction with others is primarily concerned with influencing, developing and motivating people and changing behaviour
- Competence in relevant IT systems is necessary
