CGC Recruitment is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to appoint an experienced Senior / Principal Civil Designer for a major PTA infrastructure upgrade project.

With a preferred start date in July, this is an immediate requirement for a designer who can contribute to the delivery of civil and underground services design packages within a complex transport environment.

The Opportunity

This role will see you working as part of a high-performing design team delivering transport and rail infrastructure projects across Western Australia. You will take ownership of civil design deliverables, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver civil design solutions using 12d
• Prepare and review design models and associated documentation
• Support the delivery of major transport and infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with internal design teams and project stakeholders
• Identify and resolve technical design challenges
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and delivery outcomes
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and quality procedures

About You

• Minimum 10 years' experience in civil infrastructure design
• Strong proficiency in 12d
• Experience delivering transport, roads, highways, or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles and Australian Standards
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Local WA project experience highly regarded
• Rail corridor experience is favourable but not essential
