Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with project and site teams to gather schedule input, validate durations, and align sequences of work.
  • Preparing and maintaining baseline schedules and integrating subcontractor and supplier schedules into the master program.
  • Preparing progress and forecast reports for internal and external stakeholders, including visual dashboards, S-curves, and key metrics.
  • Collaborating with the commercial and contracts teams to link schedule impacts with cost and contractual obligations.
  • Ensuring schedule compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards, and client reporting protocols.
  • Maintaining organised planning records, including updates, approvals, and change logs.
  • Contributing to project budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate time-based resourcing data.

Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Construction Planner / Scheduler with direct involvement in construction-phase planning on large commercial and NPI construction projects.
  • Proven experience developing detailed construction programs across multiple phases, including early works, bulk earthworks, civil packages and structural/building scopes.
  • Strong capability with Primavera P6 planning and scheduling software.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating subcontractor construction schedules, managing multiple workfronts, and maintaining live, progress-driven programs.
  • Ability to interpret engineering and construction drawings, scopes of work and contractual requirements to inform realistic and buildable schedules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical, construction-focused, data-driven recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of project controls, earned value management and schedule risk analysis within a construction delivery environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with site-based and office-based teams, including Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors.
