Role Description

The Solution Architect is a newly created opportunity in our Technical and Business Services Team based at our Central Park, Perth office.

The Solution Architect is responsible for the design and development of Synergy’s technology systems and associated governance. The role combines technical knowledge with stakeholder engagement to Design and Architect systems that are scalable, reliable, secure and cost-effective.

Job Responsibilities

• Working with key business stakeholders and collaborate with other technology teams to recommend strategic solutions
• Contribute to Pipeline management and demand management for improved strategic planning
• Undertake Options evaluations and assessments and make solution recommendations
• Develop solution architectures to ensure Synergy business objectives and solutions align with architecture roadmaps, policies and standards
• Perform other duties as required, consistent with the intent of the role

What You Will Bring

• Tertiary IT related qualification e.g. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in Solution Architecture roles.
• Proven experience in technology design and implementation, ideally with experience with one or many of Azure Cloud platforms, Third party SaaS providers, On-premise IT and OT systems, Integration services. Data and Information Architecture, service design
• Broad understanding across multiple technologies and architectures.
• Azure-related certification such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
