About eqwools

eqwools is redefining how wool works in the global textile system. By making Premium Australian Merino compatible with short-staple spinning, we unlock wool’s natural performance at scale - without changing existing machinery. The result: a fibre that’s easier to spin, easier to adopt, and ready for the world’s cotton-based supply chains.

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a commercially driven Technical Commercial Partnerships Manager – Spinning & Fibre Solutions to lead sales growth and market development for eqwools.

This is a commercial-first role (approx. 60%), underpinned by strong technical textile capability (approx. 40%). You’ll own the end-to-end commercial pipeline while working hands-on with spinning mills to support trials, unlock yarn programs, and build long-term partnerships that convert technical success into recurring commercial scale.

The role sits at the intersection of sales, fibre science, spinning capability and market demand - requiring both technical credibility and commercial agility to drive meaningful adoption of eqwools across spinning and fabric manufacturing markets.

Role Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Pipeline Ownership

  • Own and manage the full eqwools sales pipeline: lead qualification, enquiries, quotations, negotiations, contracts and documentation.
  • Grow revenue across existing accounts while converting new commercial opportunities through proactive engagement.
  • Maintain disciplined, accurate CRM records including forecasts, customer insights and sales documentation.

Driving Yarn Programs with Spinners

  • Partner with spinning mills and their sales, marketing and innovation teams to develop ongoing yarn programs using eqwools.
  • Build internal capability at mill level through training, strategic conversations and technical-commercial alignment.
  • Connect spinner sales and innovation teams with our Australian-based teams to ensure shared objectives and clear execution pathways.
  • Support mills with storytelling, positioning, technical validation and downstream customer engagement to actively promote eqwools yarns.

Technical Trials & Commercial Enablement

  • Support spinning trials end-to-end: preparation, spinning parameters, performance evaluation and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Technical Connections team to deliver responsive technical service.
  • Translate trial learnings into new yarn constructions, applications and commercial opportunities.

Inventory Readiness & Quick-Turn Sales

  • Ensure key spinning partners hold agreed on-floor inventories of eqwools fibre to enable short-lead-time yarn production.
  • Monitor fibre usage, recommend replenishment, and coordinate with supply planning to maintain availability.

Spinner Capability Alignment

  • Maintain a deep understanding of each spinner’s equipment, technical strengths and yarn performance using eqwools.
  • Match spinner capability with downstream market needs to maximise commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure efficient connection between spinner capability, fibre supply and market demand.

Sales Planning, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts informed by pipeline health, demand trends and spinner readiness.
  • Prepare structured CRM reports to support internal planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with supply planning to align sales commitments with production and delivery timelines.

Market Expansion & Customer Solutions

  • Proactively identify technical, commercial or service-based solutions that increase eqwools adoption.
  • Support market expansion by enabling mills to create yarn propositions for brands, retailers and fabric manufacturers.
  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships focused on scalable growth.
