Program Manager

We're hiring: Program Manager | Permanent | SaaS, Utilities & Energy Sector

A fast-growing SaaS provider serving the utilities and energy sector is bringing on a Program Manager to lead a brand new implementation for a brand new customer. This is a genuine leadership mandate, not a delivery-only seat, and it comes with real scope to shape both the program and the way the business runs delivery more broadly.

About the role

You'll be stepping into a live, newly kicked-off implementation with a mix of existing and new team members already assembled. There's no legacy program to untangle and no history to work around, just a clear mandate to lead from the front .

What you'll be doing

• Leading and developing a team, building a high-performing, accountable delivery environment
• Owning program governance end to end, including boards, reporting, the RAID framework, dependencies and change control
• Building trusted client relationships and confidently managing escalations
• Aligning all workstreams to a clear, outcome-driven delivery plan
• Driving financial oversight, including forecasting, spend tracking and commercial controls
• Creating and using performance dashboards to guide fast, confident decisions
• Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline ways of working, and helping shape the business's broader governance and project management systems

What you'll bring

• A proven track record building strong, trusted client relationships
• Experience leading large-scale programmes, ideally in SaaS or cloud environments
• Salesforce experience, ideally strong
• Utilities or billing platform experience is highly desirable
• A solid understanding of SDLC, DevOps and IT operations
• Strong planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing risk, dependencies and complex delivery environments
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with the confidence to challenge and improve
