We're partnering with one of Australia's leading retail organisations to appoint a Project Lead into their established Technology team. Due to a growing portfolio of projects, they're expanding the team with an initial 6-month contract, with a genuine opportunity for extension or even a permanent role as the project pipeline continues to grow.

This is a business investing heavily in technology, automation and continuous improvement. You'll work across high-profile initiatives while partnering with business leaders, technical teams and external vendors to deliver projects that have real commercial impact.

What you'll be working on

You'll manage a varied portfolio of technology and business projects, including:

• AI and business process automation initiatives
• Distribution Centre and logistics transformation projects
• Business applications and system integrations
• Merchandise Planning, Allocation and Replenishment projects
• Cloud migration initiatives
• Retail technology and operational improvement projects

About the role

You'll lead projects from concept through to delivery, including:

• Managing multiple concurrent projects
• Running workshops and gathering business requirements
• Coordinating internal teams and external vendors
• Managing timelines, risks and project delivery
• Building strong relationships across business and technology teams
• Driving projects forward in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

This isn't a heavily governed PMO where everything is perfectly documented before you begin. It's a business that values people who can think commercially, navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders and keep projects moving.

About you

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience delivering technology or business application projects
• Retail, FMCG, supply chain or other fast-paced industry experience
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Exposure to system integrations, enterprise applications or digital transformation
• A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to work through ambiguity

Experience with warehouse, logistics, planning or AI-related projects will be highly regarded.
