About the role
As part of our growing Advisory team, we are seeking an experienced Regional Advisory Lead to drive strategic client engagement, support business growth, and deliver innovative solutions across water and wastewater treatment, infrastructure, operations, and digital services.
Based out of Perth, Western Australia, you will act as a trusted advisor to water utilities, providing technical and strategic guidance from master planning and concept design through to operational optimisation and asset management. Leveraging SUEZ's global expertise and technology portfolio, you will help clients improve performance, sustainability, resilience, and operational outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Build strong relationships with water utility clients and understand their strategic and operational challenges.
- Provide technical leadership across water and wastewater treatment, networks, asset management, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Develop and manage advisory proposals and service offerings in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Lead the delivery of advisory projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across ANZ and the global SUEZ network.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement activities, and risk assessment processes.
- Support pipeline growth and market positioning through proactive client engagement and business development activities.
About you
You are a degree-qualified engineer with significant experience in the water and wastewater sector, bringing deep expertise across treatment, infrastructure, operations, and asset management. Ideally, you have developed your career across both water utility and consulting environments, allowing you to combine operational insight with strategic advisory capability. Recognised as a respected industry presence within your region, you have established networks and credibility with utilities, regulators, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
You have a proven track record of delivering solutions that improve performance, sustainability, resilience, and cost efficiency, while leading complex projects and influencing key stakeholders. A confident communicator and relationship builder, you can translate technical challenges into practical, client-focused outcomes and are comfortable identifying opportunities, developing trusted partnerships, and contributing to business growth. Leadership qualifications or formal leadership development programs will be highly regarded.
