Key Requirements

• You must be an Australian Citizen eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance — no exceptions.
• Proven, hands-on enterprise AWS platform engineering chops: landing zones, Control Tower, multi-account design, SCPs and organisational guardrails at scale.
• Strong IaC and CI/CD skills (Terraform / OpenTofu or CDK) plus at least one AWS professional or specialty certification (Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, or Advanced Networking Specialty).

Cloud Delivered is building a merit pool of elite AWS Engineers for enterprise platform gigs — and we want the best of the best in TAS, VIC and NSW ready to go when the right engagement lands.

You're the backbone of a large enterprise AWS environment. Multi-account landing zones, Control Tower, Transit Gateway hub-and-spoke, Direct Connect — this is your daily bread. You own the foundations that every workload team depends on, and you keep them secure, compliant and humming. On top of that, a growing portfolio of AI workloads lives on your platform — Bedrock, OpenSearch, the works — and you're the one making sure those teams can build quickly and safely.

This isn't a 'set and forget' ops gig. You're automating everything through IaC, leading platform uplift and migration projects end to end, and working shoulder-to-shoulder with architects, cyber specialists and business stakeholders to deliver real outcomes.

Essential Criteria

• Strong hands-on experience building and running enterprise AWS platforms — landing zones, AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations and multi-account design.
• Demonstrated experience authoring and managing Service Control Policies and organisational guardrails at scale.
• Experience in large enterprise or highly regulated environments with mature security, risk and assurance processes.
• AWS certifications — Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or Advanced Networking Specialty.
• Deep AWS networking capability — Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, hub-and-spoke architectures, VPC endpoints and hybrid connectivity.
• Proven experience operating and managing an enterprise AWS environment — identity, logging, patching, monitoring, incident response and cost management.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD skills (Terraform / OpenTofu or CDK; Git-based workflows).
• Demonstrated AWS project delivery experience — taking platform or migration initiatives from design through build to operational handover.
• Sound understanding of AWS security services and practices — IAM, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail — and least-privilege design.

Desirable Criteria

• Working familiarity with AWS AI services — Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock Guardrails, Amazon OpenSearch (vector search) — and the platform patterns that support AI workloads.
• Exposure to container platforms (ECS/EKS) and serverless architectures.
