Production Lead – On-Site Melbourne

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented production professional based in Melbourne, seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic narrative project. The position involves supporting the filming of an ensemble series, working closely with a remote director to ensure seamless on-set operations. The successful candidate will coordinate camera operations, manage media, and facilitate communication between the on-site team and remote leadership. The project requires full availability from Monday 20 July to Friday 24 July, with daily on-site presence in Brunswick East.

Responsibilities

• Assist with camera setup, framing, and operation, primarily using iPhone devices
• Start, monitor, and verify video and audio recordings as directed remotely
• Maintain accurate take logs and production notes throughout each filming day
• Monitor battery levels, storage capacity, and basic audio quality
• Organise, back up, and securely manage all recorded media files
• Coordinate with the director and team via remote communication tools
• Support on-set logistics and ensure smooth daily production flow

Skills And Requirements

• Prior experience in on-set production coordination or camera assistance preferred
• Proficiency with iPhone video recording and basic audio monitoring
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for file management and take logging
• Comfortable with remote collaboration and clear communication across time zones
• Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving production needs
• Full availability in Melbourne from 20–24 July, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily
• No travel required; must be able to work on-site in Brunswick East
