Our AI capability is scaling rapidly, and we are looking for a foundational leader to ensure our humans and our digital agents operate from a single, defensible source of truth.

The Knowledge Management and AI Enablement owns the framework, governance, and architecture of Compare Club's organisational knowledge, using that foundation to safely enable the AI agents that act on it. This role is split into two critical halves: Knowledge Architecture & Governance and AI Agent Enablement.

Key Accountabilities

• Knowledge Management Framework: Design and own the org-wide structure, taxonomy, metadata model, and findability standards for both human and AI consumers.
• Rigorous Governance & Assurance: Build an audit-ready framework covering source-of-truth control, access handling, and data sensitivity that stands up to leadership and auditor scrutiny.
• Agent-Ready Knowledge: Lead the extraction workflow with SMEs across IT, Sales Ops, Compliance, and Finance, turning tacit business knowledge into clean, structured content that LLMs can accurately reason over.
• AI Agent Enablement & Guardrails: Define agent rules, escalation thresholds, and human-in-the-loop triggers. Oversee the build-and-tune loop alongside the engineering team to expand autonomous action safely.
• Performance Monitoring: Maintain quality dashboards to track agent performance across accuracy, deflection, and mis-fire categories, prioritizing the content backlog based on live trends.

What You Bring to the Role

You are a senior knowledge management, operations, or information architecture practitioner who has explicitly built frameworks for AI consumers (RAG systems, LLMs) as well as humans. You are platform-agnostic, disciplined, and strategic.

• Knowledge Architecture: Proven experience designing and running end-to-end knowledge frameworks (taxonomy, lifecycle, ownership).
• Governance Discipline: Experience enforcing strict quality standards, source-of-truth controls, and a defensible audit trail.
• AI Platform Familiarity: Working, hands-on knowledge of modern AI agent or orchestration platforms. You understand retrieval, prompts, evaluation, and observability at a functional level.
• The "Skills vs. Knowledge" Distinction: You clearly understand that skills are actions an agent invokes and knowledge is what it references, and you know how to architect both.
• Governed Autonomy: You know how to set strict escalation points so that agent autonomy is earned and evidence-backed, not assumed.
• SME Extraction: A track record of running clean interview processes across IT, Operations, Compliance, and Finance to leave behind structured documentation.
