Associate Solicitor - Disputes & Investigations

We are working with a leading Australian law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Disputes & Investigations team within their Perth office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join an elite Litigation practice, working on a range of complex, high-value corporate and commercial disputes and investigations. The candidate will work on issues across a range of issues, including “bet the company” litigation and investigations, class actions, Royal Commissions and other inquiries, major commercial disputes, and regulatory investigations. Responsibilities include drafting advice, preparing clients for court proceedings, drafting and amending documentation and court pleadings, and drafting evidence and witness statements.

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

• 2+ PQE;
• Strong background in commercial litigation and regulatory disputes within a medium to large commercial firm;
• Excellent commercial awareness;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
