Senior Site Manager / Section Manager

CGC Recruitment is partnering with a leading Tier 1 contractor to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager / Section Manager to work on a major, highly complex building project in Perth.

This is a significant senior leadership position sitting directly beneath the project's senior leadership team. The successful candidate will take ownership of major elements of the construction programme across multiple disciplines, including structures, façade and fit-out.

With responsibility for a growing team of Supervisors and Engineers, this role offers broader project exposure than a traditional site management position and represents an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Senior Site Manager / Section Manager.

The Role

The Role You will be responsible for the planning, safe execution and overall delivery of significant elements of the project, with accountability across construction operations, programme, cost, safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Leading major work areas across structures, façade and fit-out
• Managing a multidisciplinary team of Supervisors and Engineers
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and construction interfaces
• Developing construction methodologies and buildability strategies
• Driving programme, productivity and recovery strategies
• Identifying and resolving complex construction issues before they impact delivery
• Collaborating closely with commercial, procurement, design and supply chain teams
• Monitoring trade performance, productivity and programme outcomes
• Driving Tier 1 standards across safety, quality and project delivery
• Providing visible leadership across the site and subcontractor workforce
• Building a strong, collaborative and high-performing project culture

About You

This opportunity will particularly suit an experienced Project Manager, Senior Site Manager or Section Manager who has delivered major building projects and is ready to take on broader responsibility across both construction delivery and project management.

Ideally, You Will Have

• 5+ years' experience in senior site leadership or management positions
• A strong background delivering major commercial or complex building projects
• Extensive experience across on-site construction, planning and programming
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
