Our culture is practical, collaborative and values-driven. We work closely with our people, customers and suppliers to deliver on our commitments.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director and based at Wangara, you will lead the West Coast business, including our Bunbury branch. You will have end-to-end accountability across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, logistics, sales, service and customer delivery.

In this broad general management role, you will develop and execute the West Coast strategy in alignment with Centurion's objectives. As the division's senior leader, you will set the cultural tone through visible leadership, clear expectations and consistent follow-through. You will drive profitable growth, strengthen operational discipline and build an accountable leadership team, with safety, quality and customer outcomes central to every decision.

Key Responsibilities

You will be accountable for the West Coast business plan and for delivering sustainable growth, financial performance and consistent operational execution.

Your core priorities will include

  • Operational Excellence: Own performance across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, logistics and customer delivery. Embed standard work and disciplined problem-solving to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery; reduce waste, rework, defects and lead times; and ensure assets and facilities support reliable operations.
  • People, Culture & Safety: Set the cultural tone and lead by example across the West Coast business. Build a connected, accountable team; develop managers to lead consistently; reinforce expected behaviours; and provide visible leadership on WHS, critical risk controls and incident follow-through.
  • Customers & Stakeholders: Build trusted relationships with customers, builder, reseller and shed operator networks, suppliers, contractors and other strategic partners. Strengthen service delivery, customer retention and professional resolution of complaints or disputes.
  • Governance & Risk: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements; identify and manage business risks; and provide accurate, timely reporting to the Managing Director and Advisory Board on performance, issues and corrective actions.

What You'll Bring

You are an accomplished senior leader with the commercial judgement and operational depth to lead a complex, multi-site business. You are a visible, authentic and consistent cultural leader who builds trust, sets clear expectations, develops other leaders and connects people around a shared purpose. You can move confidently between the factory floor, customers and executive stakeholders.

Essential experience

  • Senior leadership: Proven success as a General Manager or equivalent senior operational leader within manufacturing, distribution, building products, construction or a closely related sector.
  • Commercial and financial capability: Experience managing operational budgets, forecasts, margins and P&L performance, and translating data into sound decisions and measurable outcomes.
  • Operational and change leadership: Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary, multi-site teams and delivering continuous improvement, supported by working knowledge of quality systems and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Cultural leadership and communication: Demonstrated ability to shape culture through visible leadership, clear expectations, open communication and consistent follow-through. You engage employees, customers, suppliers and executive stakeholders with integrity and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
