The Opportunity & How You Will Make An Impact.

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our Melbourne team, providing high‑quality support analysing and responding to cyber security incidents across Urbis & Cistri.

In this role you will work across a diverse range of tasks in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring no two days are the same. If you are passionate about cyber security implementation, maintenance and generating cyber security awareness we would love to hear from you!

As a Cyber Security Analyst every day is different! You'll make an impact by:

• Monitoring, analysing and responding to security events and incidents, ensuring timely remediation and mitigation of potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Supporting investigations with managed service providers, implementing security controls, and communicating outcomes and risks to internal stakeholders
• Assisting with vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking and continuous improvement activities to strengthen security capabilities across the business
• Contributing to security governance activities including system mapping, reporting, statistics gathering, and vendor and client security assessments
• Supporting and enhancing the organisation's security awareness program through training, engagement activities and identification of improvement opportunities

We Know Everyone Is Different And Bring Different Strengths And Passions With Them. In Addition To Yours, We're Keen To Connect With You If You Bring The Following Experiences And Attributes

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent industry certification/experience) along with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a Cyber Security role or a similar infrastructure role
• Microsoft Security Certifications or Experience around SIEM management are preferrable
• Intermediate experience working in the Microsoft Security Stack
• Strong Networking experience, including applicable skills and an advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI Model, defence-in-depth and common security elements
• Revelvant experience working with security solutions, including Firewalls, Email Filters, Endpoint Detection and Response, Security Event and Incident Management Systems
• Demonstrates strong understanding and application of key technology ‘best practice frameworks and principles' in relation to Change, Problem and Incident Management
• A collaborative mindset, to bring out the best in yourself and others while bringing new thinking to Urbis and our clients
