About The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will represent the Shannons brand across Western Australia, building strong relationships with customers, clubs, event organisers, and industry partners. Based in Perth, you will create and deliver events that strengthen brand awareness, support business growth, and enhance customer engagement. Working closely with internal teams, including Event Support Underwriters and Regional Development Officers, you will contribute to strategic growth opportunities across a market identified as a key focus area for the future.

What You'll Do

• Develop, plan and deliver motoring and community events that increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with motoring clubs, industry bodies, event organisers and influential community stakeholders.
• Manage regional event and sponsorship budgets, ensuring activities align with business objectives and commercial outcomes.
• Identify new opportunities to expand brand presence and support lead generation across Western Australia.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver consistent customer experiences and support business growth initiatives.
• Promote safe, compliant and well-governed event operations while maintaining strong risk management practices.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in events, promotions, sponsorships or business development within a customer-focused environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
• Strong planning, coordination and budget management skills with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
• Confidence using business systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications to manage activities and reporting.
• Knowledge of sales, marketing or customer engagement practices and how they support commercial growth.
• A genuine passion for cars and the motoring community, with an understanding of enthusiast culture and events.
