An opportunity has arisen for experienced Projects Disputes lawyers to join one of Australia's leading projects and construction National practices, advising on complex disputes across some of the country's largest infrastructure and development projects.

Working with a highly regarded national team, you'll act for government, principals and leading contractors across a diverse range of industries, while enjoying exposure to sophisticated matters, outstanding mentoring and genuine long-term career progression.

The Opportunity

You will advise clients on a broad range of projects and infrastructure disputes across sectors including:

  • Civil engineering
  • Major infrastructure projects
  • Transport
  • Energy
  • Mining
  • Oil and gas

Your work will include disputes across a variety of forums, including:

  • Commercial litigation
  • Arbitration
  • Alternative dispute resolution
  • Strategic dispute management and advisory work

This role provides the opportunity to work on complex, high-value matters for a diverse client base while taking increasing responsibility for managing matters and developing strong client relationships.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • 6+ years' post qualification experience in Projects, Construction or Infrastructure Disputes
  • Experience gained within a reputable commercial law firm
  • Strong technical litigation and dispute resolution skills
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management abilities
  • A commercial approach and the ability to manage complex matters with increasing autonomy
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in major projects and infrastructure
