About the Opportunity

This role oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs across ACCIONA's infrastructure projects nationally. Reporting to the Regional Health & Safety Manager, you will drive compliance with WHS legislation, guide risk assessments, and manage safety audits and inspections. You will partner closely with project teams to build a strong safety culture, oversee incident investigations, and shape policies that support consistent, high-quality safety outcomes across the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop WHS/OHS policy aligned to business strategy and culture
  • Run safety audits and monitoring programs across projects
  • Draft Construction Safety Management Plans with key stakeholders
  • Investigate incidents and identify root cause
  • Drive strategic action to reduce TRIFR/LTIFR
  • Build a positive safety culture across teams and projects
  • Report safety performance and trends to senior management

Required Skills

  • Degree in OHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or related
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations
  • Experience managing incident investigations and safety audits
  • Current driver's licence for travel between sites
