Toshi is an established Melbourne brand expanding its presence across Australia's leading marketplaces. We're seeking a commercially driven Marketplace Specialist to own and accelerate our marketplace growth.

The Role

You'll lead the integration, optimisation, and end-to-end management of our marketplace channels, driving measurable commercial success. This is a hands-on, data-led role for someone passionate about ecommerce and obsessed with results — comfortable working across strategy, operations, and the fine detail.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Growth & Integration

• Establish and manage integrations with new and existing marketplaces
• Develop and execute growth strategies to scale sales and profitability across each channel
• Monitor sales performance, traffic, conversion, profitability and product visibility
• Manage promotional activity, seasonal campaigns and key trading events
• Ensure Marketplace activity aligns with broader business and brand objectives
• Research and identify new marketplace opportunities locally and internationally
• Tailor approach to the nuances of each platform

Listings & Content

• Create and optimise product listings — titles, descriptions, enhanced content, and imagery
• Manage product categorisation, attributes, variations, and SKU structures
• Apply marketplace SEO and keyword strategy to maximise visibility

Pricing, Promotions & Advertising

• Drive competitive pricing strategies
• Grow AOV with creative and tested strategies
• Plan and execute promotions and campaigns
• Manage Sponsored Product advertising and optimise ROAS
• Strategise and implement to improve both revenue and profitability

Inventory & Operations

• Participate in coordinating a sophisticated custom-built inventory system
• Maintain accurate, high-volume inventory and listings with precision
• Collaborate in coordinating fulfillment with onsite warehouse
• Oversee demand forecasting, returns and account health metrics

Data & Reporting

• Monitor, analyse, and report on sales data, trends, and KPIs
• Build dashboards, track performance, and reconcile fees, commissions, and settlements
• Turn data into actionable commercial decisions

Relationships & Compliance

• Collaborate with founders and an established team
• Build strong relationships with marketplace account managers and partners
• Stay across platform policies, T&Cs, and compliance requirements
• Manage disputes, claims, and case resolution

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated success growing marketplace channels
• Strong commercial and ecommerce acumen, with solid understanding of margin and unit economics
• Excellent data management and analytical skills
• Experience with AI and enthusiasm for creating automations
• Proven ability to manage large inventories with accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with marketplace integration / feed platforms
• Familiarity with marketplace advertising
• Fashion SKU style, colour and size experience considered favourably
• Shopify experience
• A proactive, organised, results-oriented self-starter who thrives across teams and under pressure
