Prime Recruitment is currently partnering with a number of well established, award winning commercial builders across Melbourne metro who are looking to strengthen their estimating teams.

With offices based in Prahran, Richmond, South Melbourne, Bayswater (just to name a few), our clients deliver projects across the commercial, office, industrial, education, health, community and social housing sectors. They offer financially secure businesses, strong project pipelines and genuine long-term career opportunities.

We're interested in speaking with Estimators ranging from approximately 3+ years' experience through to Senior Estimators.

Depending on the business and your level of experience, responsibilities may include:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
• Analysing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Measuring quantities using Cubit and Cubit Select
• Preparing and issuing subcontractor packages through EstimateOne and other tender platforms
• Reviewing subcontractor quotations and ensuring scope compliance
• Preparing tender submissions, schedules and RFT documentation
• Presenting estimates to senior management
• Working collaboratively with project delivery teams through handover
• Software environments include Cubit, Cubit Select, EstimateOne, Procore, MS Project and Microsoft 365.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' estimating experience within a commercial building contractor
• Experience preparing tenders from concept through to submission
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, market rates and subcontractor pricing
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial acumen
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
