Position Description

Permanent part-time (up to 22 hours per week)

Provide one-on-one support in clients’ own homes

Travel between clients in your local community (driver's licence and car required)

Locations such as Elsternwick, Caulfield, Bentleigh, Carnegie & Port Phillip

We are seeking Home Care Workers (internally known as Direct Care Workers) who can commit to consistent availability on the same days and times each week.

Set roster hours include paid travel between clients.

Help our clients stay independent with support in personal care, meal preparation, general cleaning, shopping and transport to appointments.

Strong verbal communication

A warm, personable nature with genuine respect for cultural diversity and relationship-building skills

Ability to monitor client wellbeing and act quickly in emergencies to ensure safety

Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Aged Care)

Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle

Availability to work 1 - 4 days per week, Monday - Sunday, up to a maximum of 22 hours per week

Russian, Polish, Hebrew or Yiddish language skills (desirable, but not essential)
