The Client Partner is responsible for how a major client works. You are a senior lead at OMD and have relationships with senior client stakeholders within the team. The Client Partner is seen as an authority in client relationships and supported by the Group Director, you are seen as a true trusted advisor and business leader by the most senior client

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Achieving positive client scores across your core client.
  • Contract control and scope management
  • Establishing the client remuneration structure with your Group Director
  • Ensuring positive client interactions with Strategy, Design, Partnerships and BUs within Omnicom
  • Develop proactive solutions that deliver against client business objectives
  • Establish campaign analysis and optimisation frameworks
  • Ensuring the internal process is adhered to across the group and client briefs are being responded to in line with the OMD brief rating system
  • Ensuring the activity overview is kept up to date by the client leads and resources are managed effectively in delivering on projects and workloads
  • Ensure quality of the connections planning process and ultimate sign-off on connections
  • Develops OMD and SBU revenue action plans to achieve company budgets
  • Ownership of the financial reconciliation process and contract commercials, with support of your Group

  • Revenue opportunities are accurately forecasted along with pipeline - monthly and quarterly
  • Develops group P&L, regularly monitors, and reports the status to the Finance Director

  • Ability to professionally manage client push back at a senior level when required
  • Successfully leads the client relationship and quickly responds to feedback
  • Up to date with the communications industry and how it impacts your client's business
  • Proactively manage all communications in a timely manner with no request going unnoticed
  • Media agency and multi-category communications experience in a senior leadership role
  • Have a detailed level of awareness of the breadth of services delivered by the SBU's and what revenue opportunities exist within each.
  • Remains consistently up to date about all media trends (both Australian and Global) and up to date knowledge of ever-changing media landscape.
  • Demonstration of strong problem-solving skills / come solution ready.
  • Ability to identify non-traditional partnership opportunities.
  • To have a voice and a point of view that adds value to client's business and elevates you to advisory status.
  • Respectful to partners and mindful about the way we treat our agency partners and colleagues.
