We're seeking an experienced Specialist Information Management – Applications to join a leading resources organisation on an initial 12-month contract, supporting the design, implementation, optimisation and ongoing support of enterprise Information Management solutions across a complex operational environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in modernising Information Management practices, driving data governance, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and ensuring business-critical information remains secure, accessible and fit for purpose.

THE ROLE

Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and operational users, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise Information Management solutions that improve data quality, governance, automation and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include

• Design, implement and integrate Information Management solutions across the organisation.
• Maintain and optimise master data management, metadata, business rules and Information Management workflows.
• Develop and maintain Information Management standards, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand information requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Develop and maintain information architecture, metadata models and enterprise data structures.
• Monitor, validate and improve data quality, integrity and consistency across enterprise applications.
• Develop automation solutions, intelligent content processing capabilities and AI-enhanced Information Management technologies.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and ongoing optimisation of Information Management platforms and related applications.
• Ensure Information Management practices comply with organisational policies, governance frameworks and relevant legislation.
• Deliver user training, technical guidance and knowledge transfer to support adoption of Information Management systems.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting enterprise Information Management solutions.
• Strong understanding of Information Management workflows, metadata management, business rules and master data management.
• Experience developing automation solutions, intelligent content processing and AI-enhanced Information Management capabilities.
• Sound understanding of modern application architectures, including Cloud, SaaS, APIs and scripting languages.
• Experience designing and developing data quality dashboards and reporting using SQL and Business Intelligence tools.
• Experience working with IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, stewardship and information quality frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience working within large enterprise or operational environments will be highly regarded.
