We’re seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic initiatives within a major transformation program. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage complex enterprise projects, including Oracle CC&B upgrade, COTS implementations and business-critical technology initiatives, while working alongside senior stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams.

About The Role

As the Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering medium to large-scale projects across a complex enterprise environment. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard, while actively contributing to the organisation’s Delivery Practice and Enterprise Delivery Framework.

This role requires someone who is equally comfortable managing executive stakeholders as they are navigating technical delivery challenges across architecture, integration, testing, environments and release management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale IT projects
  • Deliver projects within agreed scope, budget, schedule and quality expectations
  • Manage project plans, governance, risks, issues and dependencies
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Present clear and concise project updates to Sponsors, Steering Committees and PMO
  • Oversee vendor performance and commercial deliverables
  • Manage project communications across technical and business audiences
  • Ensure change requests are appropriately assessed, documented and approved
  • Drive quality assurance and project governance activities
  • Participate in project audits and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the uplift of the organisation’s Delivery Practice

Skills And Experience

  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale IT projects in complex enterprise environments
  • Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) implementation or upgrade experience
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise project delivery methodologies and governance
  • Experience managing vendors, commercial contracts and third-party delivery partners
  • Excellent financial management and project reporting skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at executive level
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing project risk, dependencies, environments and release activities
  • Utilities industry experience
