We are seeking a passionate and motivated Education Counsellor to join our Perth office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service throughout the student journey.

Position Summary

As an Education Counsellor, you will act as the primary point of contact for prospective international students, providing professional guidance on Australian universities, colleges, VET providers and English language programs.

You will assess each client's academic background, career objectives and personal circumstances to recommend suitable education pathways while managing the complete admissions process from enquiry through to enrolment.

Working closely with education providers, the migration team and internal stakeholders, you will ensure every client receives an exceptional and seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional education counselling to prospective international students and recommend suitable study pathways based on their academic background, career aspirations and personal circumstances.
• Conduct consultations and guide students through the complete admissions process, from enquiry to enrolment.
• Prepare, review and submit high-quality student applications and supporting documentation with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain accurate client records, application progress and communications within the CRM system.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with university, college and VET provider representatives to ensure timely application processing and effective communication.
• Liaise with education providers regarding admissions, offers, enrolments and student enquiries.
• Collaborate closely with the Migration and Admissions teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Represent VEVS Global at education exhibitions, seminars, networking events and institution training sessions.
• Contribute to VEVS Global's digital presence by participating in educational content creation, including social media videos, student success stories, webinars and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain a professional personal and company presence across social media platforms to engage prospective students and strengthen the VEVS Global brand.
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, community engagement and marketing initiatives.
• Achieve individual and team KPIs while maintaining exceptional client service standards.
• Remain up to date with changes to the Australian education sector, admission requirements and student visa regulations.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in Education Counselling or International Student Admissions.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian education system.
• Understanding university, VET, and ELICOS admission processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong documentation and administrative skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple student applications simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Client-focused and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Full Australian working rights.

Desirable

• QEAC Certification.
• Knowledge of Australian student visa processes.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Multilingual ability.
• Existing relationships within international student communities.
• Experience in education, marketing, or student recruitment.
