The purpose of the role is to provide high levels of technical expertise to, investigate, analyse and resolve detailed and complex insurance enquires to ensure a superior client experience. This includes analysis on key insurance products, business requirements, product development through migrations and enhancements.
Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
- Provide high levels of technical expertise to, investigate, analyse and resolve detailed and
- complex insurance enquires to ensure a superior client experience.
- Complete task allocated by the lead analyst to prevent, early detect and resolve complex
- data/product related to issues.
- Design, develop and execute plans to ensure the quality of products are maintained to the
- satisfaction of our clients as per each Fund business rules and insurance product designs.
- Support the lead analyst with coaching and guidance to ensure business objectives are
- met.
- Lead investigations and design effort on projects / enhancements
- Lead & drive business improvements in line with the Quality Framework
- Participate in problem solving and collaboration and maintain healthy group dynamics.
- Support, enhance and maintain standard practices & methodology within the team.
- Take action to lead & build relationships between areas, teams, departments, units and/or
- organisations internally and externally to support the achievement of the team and
- business goals.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning
- and a commitment to quality in line with Link’s core values.
- Identify and implement applicable investigatory and rectification techniques.
Operational Management
- Work with Funds, internal / external auditors in delivering components of audits assigned
- by the manager.
- Complete task allocated by the lead analyst to prevent, early detect and resolve complex
- data/product related to issues.
- Work closely with the resources within the IT area and deliver cost effective solutions that
- meet client requirement.
- Work directly with peers to ensure all insurance enquiries are managed in line with SLA’s
- and each Fund Insurance business rules.
- Provide advice, guidance and support through analysis to manage and resolving complex
- insurance queries.
- Assist in projects to review and attend Insurance related functional specs, fund Insurance
- related changes, new fund Insurance related transitions.
Governance & Risk
- Promote a culture of risk awareness and proactive identification of potential issues.
- Ensure adherence and compliance with all legislative, financial, policy, procedural and
- quality requirements including work health and safety issues.
- Assist in projects to review and attend Insurance related functional specs, fund Insurance
- related changes, new fund Insurance related transitions.
- Maintain all work meeting GS007 standards including completion of assigned quality
- assurance testing and follow ups.

Experience & Personal Attributes
- Developed organisation and planning skills with the ability to deal with demanding

- management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
- Commercial, risk aware and outcomes focused.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, change in role direction and focus when required to support
- the business need; and
- Strong insurance and Superannuation product knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of best practice administration processes and procedures.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong Business Analysis experience; and
- Superannuation insurance knowledge
