Senior Residential Draftsperson

I’m working with a well‑established Perth residential builder who’s looking to bring on an experienced

Senior Draftsperson to take full ownership of drafting accuracy, compliance and buildability across their project portfolio.

You’ll be the final review point for all working drawings, collaborating closely with an offshore drafting team and internal stakeholders to ensure every plan issued is accurate, compliant and genuinely ready for construction.

What you’ll bring

• Strong WA residential drafting/documentation experience
• Solid understanding of R‑Codes, NCC and local authority requirements
• ArchiCAD proficiency
• Ability to spot compliance issues and detailing errors quickly
• Strong buildability knowledge and attention to detail
• Experience with offshore drafting teams (advantageous)

What you’ll be doing

• Reviewing working drawings for accuracy, compliance and constructability
• Ensuring alignment with R‑Codes, NCC and WA building regulations
• Identifying and resolving drafting errors before issue
• Providing clear mark‑ups and feedback to offshore teams
• Reviewing engineering, energy assessments and site information
• Supporting internal teams with technical queries
• Contributing to drafting standards and quality‑control processes
