About the role
We are currently seeking Senior Process Operators to join them on an 8/6 – 7/7 roster from Perth. You will be responsible for leading day-to-day processing operations, ensuring safe and efficient plant performance, monitoring production targets, and supporting the development of other operators. You’ll play a key part in maintaining high operational standards and contributing to the success of our processing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety and effectively operate the process plant and related support systems such as crushing, grinding and tails disposals.
- Support the Shift Supervisor with overall operation of the mill, including resolution of issues, as required.
- Monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Record operational and production data.
- React quickly and efficiently in emergency shutdowns and power failures.
- Conduct regular sampling, testing and quality control activities.
- Inspect, clean and change screens in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
- Shutdown, startup, monitor and adjust production circuit as required including conveyor belts.
- Identify maintenance requirements including the completion of minor repairs to support the maintenance team.
- Maintain good housekeeping, resource conservation, spill prevention and the appropriate disposal of waste.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in processing, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Gold Processing Plant.
- Previous experience working as a Senior Operator, with exposure to Shift Supervision preferred.
- High proficiency with Citect Software.
- Current Manual Drivers Licence.
