Join Us as We Continue to Grow
As a growing ASX-listed iron ore producer with integrated mining, logistics and port operations across Western Australia, we're on an exciting journey towards our 10 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) vision.
To support our continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Senior People & Culture Partner to join our team.
Our People & Culture team partners closely with leaders across the business to deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions that strengthen leadership capability, support our people and help achieve the broader goals of Fenix.
If you're looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine impact, build trusted relationships and help shape the future of our people and culture, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As our Senior People & Culture Partner, you'll work closely with leaders across our mining, logistics, port and corporate operations, providing practical, commercially focused advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you'll spend time in the business building relationships, understanding operational challenges and partnering with leaders to deliver practical people solutions. Frequent site travel to our Mining, Haulage and Port operations in Geraldton and the Mid-West is a requirement of this role.
You'll lead complex employee and industrial relations matters, mentor and coach leaders, support the rollout of People & Culture initiatives and contribute to building a high-performing, engaged and values-led organisation.
No two days are the same. One day you may be supporting a leader through a complex employee matter, the next facilitating a leadership workshop, visiting site, reviewing workforce plans or helping deliver an organisation-wide People & Culture initiative.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with leaders to provide practical, commercially focused People & Culture advice and support.
- Build trusted relationships across all areas of the business and become a valued advisor to operational and corporate leaders.
- Lead complex employee and industrial relations matters including investigations, performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances and workplace conflict.

- Interpret and apply multiple industrial instruments across a diverse workforce while balancing legislative compliance with practical business outcomes.
- Coach and mentor leaders to build confidence and capability in people leadership.

- Assist in the development and rollout of People & Culture programs, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across the business.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is as comfortable building relationships on site as they are managing complex employee matters.
You'll be a trusted advisor who enjoys partnering with leaders, takes pride in delivering high-quality work and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience in a HR Business Partner or similar partnering role within a multi-layered operational environment.
- Extensive employee and industrial relations experience, including complex case management and workplace investigations.
- Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply multiple Awards and industrial instruments across diverse workforces.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to build leadership capability and support the development of others.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide balanced, pragmatic advice.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative, approachable and authentic communication style.
- High levels of professionalism, resilience and sound judgement.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine willingness to get involved, understand the business and support wherever needed.
- Mining, resources, logistics or another operational industry background will be highly regarded.
Why You'll Enjoy Working With Us
