Lead Structural Welding Works on a Major WA Resources Project

We're seeking experienced

S26 Mechanical Supervisors to join a leading contractor delivering a significant structural construction project on a Rio Tinto operation in the Pilbara.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term FIFO work through to February 2027, supervising structural welding activities associated with the construction of a large balance machine.

What's on Offer

• FIFO 8 days on / 6 days off roster
• 12.5-hour days
• $90.00 per hour + Super paid on all hours worked
• Flights provided (travel time not paid)
• Long-term project running through to February 2027
• Join an established contractor on a major resources project

The Role

You'll be responsible for supervising mechanical and structural crews undertaking heavy structural welding and installation works, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while maintaining strong client relationships on site.

About You

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Section 26 Mechanical Supervisor qualification
• Previous experience supervising structural steel or heavy mechanical construction works
• Strong background in structural welding projects
• Current Rio Tinto inductions highly regarded
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to lead crews in a fast-paced construction environment
